If you are a fan of the Fae, I hope that you enjoy this design as well as some of the others I’ve been working on. The Fae were brought up in a recent conversation that I had with my brother, Patrick. Although he has always leaned toward Sci-Fi, he’s got a soft spot for a good Fantasy series. I fell in love at an early age with authors like Zelazny, but never took to the genre as a whole. I have always loved the concept of the Fae and the corresponding artwork that has been published over the years. I originally come from New England, and there is a certain time in both Spring and Fall where the forests have that ethereal element that you see in the illustrations. It feels very much as if there could be magical creatures just out of sight as you walk through the woods. The woods here in the south are a hot mess of pine and invasive vines. The woods here are something you have to cut your way through, not so much stroll.
